Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who have fallen behind in English. Your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored academic support to Year 11 students, helping them improve their English skills and build their confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one interventions and small group support to students who require extra help in English
  • Assist in creating engaging lesson plans that motivate students to succeed
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor progress and adapt support accordingly
  • Gain valuable classroom experience and develop your teaching skills
  • Receive personalized support from a dedicated consultant
  • Access interview preparation, CV-building assistance, and online training modules to boost your success

Requirements:

  • Hold a degree in English or a related field from a Top 30 university
  • Strong commitment to education and passion for improving student outcomes
  • Experience with young people is valued but not essential
