Job Title: Driver Trainer

Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our drivers in their role, improving their knowledge and understanding, and ensuring they perform their duties in a safe and responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct driving assessments for new and existing drivers.
  • Deliver driver CPC training and provide support for on-route learning and delivery point familiarisation.
  • Monitor tachograph infringement trends and provide support and manual entry training as required.
  • Coach drivers on safe driving, accident, and fuel focus development.
  • Mentor warehouse to wheels and other training scheme candidates.
Requirements:
  • Hold a full and current Cat C+E driving license for at least 3 years.
  • Be a good communicator with the ability to engage colleagues.
  • Have a full understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph legislation.
  • Have a full understanding of road transport working time directive (RTWTD) legislation.
  • Be prepared to deliver driver CPC training.
  • Have a good understanding of the English language.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Always remain polite and professional, while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Have good timekeeping and attendance records.
  • Be versatile and flexible on hours to suit business needs and efficiencies.
  • Be prepared to undertake training to increase own skill levels.
  • Be an advocate for the business, promoting best practice processes.
Working Hours:

Sunday to Thursday - PM Shift
