We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Philosophy Tutor to join our team at Educo London. As a Philosophy Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tuition to students in the UK, focusing on the KS3 and GCSE curriculum, with a strong emphasis on A-Level knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective online tuition sessions to students, utilizing your expertise in Philosophy and the UK curriculum.
  • Develop and implement tailored lesson plans to cater to the needs of individual students, ensuring they meet their academic goals.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them improve.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tuition sessions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Philosophy and the UK curriculum, incorporating this knowledge into your teaching practices.

Requirements:

  • Hold a strong academic background in Philosophy, with a minimum of A or equivalent A grade at both GCSE and A Level.
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Philosophy, with a focus on the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and colleagues alike.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with the main UK exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and the ability to provide guidance on exam preparation.
