Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler/Broker to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for prospecting and acquiring new commercial insurance clients, nurturing existing relationships, and providing tailored insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and Acquire New Clients: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through face-to-face and phone interactions.
  • Nurture Existing Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and retention.
  • Provide Insurance Solutions: Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored commercial insurance solutions to meet clients' needs.
  • Risk Assessment and Analysis: Perform risk assessments and analyze current coverage to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Present Insurance Proposals: Present comprehensive insurance proposals to clients, detailing coverage and options.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current on industry trends and insurance regulations to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as an Insurance Broker, Account Executive, or Handler.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Commercial Insurance products and services.
  • Certification: CII qualification preferred.
  • Software Experience: Acturis software experience highly desirable.
  • Commitment: Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service.
