Exciting Opportunity for an ICT / Computer Science Teacher

We are working with a passionate and supportive secondary school in Torbay, seeking an experienced ICT / Computer Science Teacher to join their team on a long-term, full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students across KS3 / Key Stage 3 and KS4 / Key Stage 4, with a focus on ICT and Computer Science.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating coding abilities in Python and Scratch, and an in-depth understanding of ICT / Computer Science theory and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to ensure students meet their full potential.
Requirements:
  • QTS with an ICT / Computer Science specialism (ECT / Early Careers Teachers encouraged to apply).
  • At least 6 months of experience teaching across KS3 / Key Stage 3 and KS4 / Key Stage 4, with KS5 / Key Stage 5 desirable.
  • Coding abilities in Python and Scratch, and an in-depth understanding of ICT / Computer Science theory and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
