Join Our Team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to become part of our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician within our Waste Pumping Division.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and upkeep of numerous waste pumping facilities, ensuring that these critical assets remain functional and efficient.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled and on-demand maintenance on a variety of wastewater residential and industrial electrical systems.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Work with a range of equipment, including pumps, control systems, 3-phase motors, and electronic controls.
- Participate in an on-call rotation after completing the necessary training.
What We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this position, you should possess:
- 18th Edition electrical certification from City and Guilds.
- Experience in an electrical apprenticeship with a strong background in multi-skilled roles.
- Proficiency in inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing faults, and repairing electrical plant equipment.
- Experience with large pumps, actuated valves, and electronic control systems.
Additionally, you must be capable of working in confined spaces and will need to complete the relevant training for this.
A valid UK driving license is essential for this role.
What We Offer:
We provide a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on your experience. Our benefits package includes:
- 24 days of annual leave, increasing to 28 with service.
