Export Logistics Manager

Freight Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Export Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As an Export Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the logistics process for exporting our clients' products both domestically and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the shipping of our clients' products globally.
- Arrange transportation of products in a timely manner according to the manufacturing schedule and in liaison with our Dispatch Department.
- Work closely with our Dispatch, Customer Service, and Operations Departments to ensure a cohesive approach to the manufacture and shipping of our clients' products.
- Maintain a current knowledge of shipping legislation and documentation, including shipping of hazardous products.
- Prepare all order documentation.
- Ensure that warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels and that products are shipped effectively following manufacture.
- Monitor activities throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that deadlines are met.
- Continually review transportation rates and be involved in the selection of preferred suppliers to ensure that our export process is both cost-effective and suitable for our clients' requirements.
- Keep accurate records and analyze budget costs/delivery deadlines and provide reports for Management.
- Monitor quality control and any dispatch delays.
- Ensure that all invoices are processed without delay.
Requirements:
- Experience with importing and exporting goods, with knowledge of exporting hazardous goods desirable.
- Knowledge of Customs & Excise requirements.
- Knowledge of relevant import and export documentation.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong MS Office knowledge, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to create and manage working databases/spreadsheets.
- Ability to deal with overseas enquiries and customer service.
- Knowledge of Anilox manufacture/printing and production processes.
- Excellent 'can-do' attitude, flexibility, and willingness to work additional hours when required.
- A proactive team player with good attention to detail.
- Good administration and time management skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and to work to deadlines.
- Methodical approach.
