Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematical Modeler to join our team of experts in the field of slot game development. As a Mathematical Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and developing mathematical models that drive slot gameplay, working closely with our team of game designers and software engineers to create the best gaming experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the initial concept design of casino/slot machine games, ensuring that mathematical models are aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and customer preferences, informing the development of mathematical models that meet their needs.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and math test engineers to ensure that mathematical models are properly implemented and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and proof math models for slot games that demonstrate game probabilities and return to player via theoretical calculation and/or simulation.
  • Code, test, and debug simulations of slot games to gather statistics and verify the accuracy of math models.
  • Work with other mathematicians and game designers to brainstorm new game mechanics and determine the mathematical feasibility of concept math models.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends, applying this knowledge to inform the development of mathematical models.

Requirements

  • Mathematics degree (or equivalent) and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles.
  • Excellent programming skills, ideally in C++ or C#, with experience in software development and simulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Enthusiasm for gaming products and a passion for creating engaging and entertaining experiences.
