About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at Building Recruitment Company. As a Financial Management Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance function and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll processes, including employee data, benefits, and statutory payments.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct key reconciliations, analyze financial data, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Qualified AAT level 4 or equivalent, or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA.
  • Proven experience in a finance function, with a focus on accounting and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated accounting systems and payroll software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £33,000 per annum, rising to £34,800 after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
  • A hybrid working arrangement, with a split between office-based and remote work.
