Role Description

As a key player in our facilities management operations, you will be involved in the delivery of various engineering projects within a critical environment. Your expertise will contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of essential systems utilized by high-level stakeholders.

The role encompasses a variety of mechanical and electrical projects, including but not limited to:

  • Replacement of fan coils
  • Chiller upgrades
  • Building Management System (BMS) enhancements

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer who is comfortable in critical settings and is looking to advance their career towards more leadership-oriented responsibilities.

Expectations

While hands-on work is part of the role, there will be a significant focus on:

  • Supervising subcontractors
  • Completing necessary documentation
Additional Duties
  • Assist in project delivery to ensure seamless execution.
  • Coordinate with operations to align business-as-usual activities with project timelines.
  • Implement Safe Systems of Work effectively.
  • Review method statements and risk assessments as required.
  • Manage project delivery and implementation.
  • Oversee handover and warranty processes.
  • Ensure all work meets employer and industry standards.
  • Support the Technical Project Manager in delivering high-quality service across the client account.
  • Engage with clients regarding change control, planning, and risk management.
  • Establish consistent engineering practices and project governance.
  • Provide project management support to address in-service issues.
  • Maintain the project delivery roadmap and overall planning.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A background in electrical engineering with proven experience in critical facility maintenance.
