Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team at Elite Employment as Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will work closely with children in a residential setting who face emotional and behavioral challenges, often stemming from trauma and family crises.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop meaningful relationships with the children to foster trust and communication.
  • Engage in discussions to help children articulate their challenges and behaviors.
  • Exhibit emotional resilience while managing challenging behaviors.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the young individuals in your care.
  • Create and maintain a structured routine tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Encourage a supportive and positive living atmosphere.
  • Perform general household tasks as required.
  • Document daily activities and observations accurately.
  • Communicate any concerns regarding the children to the Supervisor or Registered Manager promptly.
  • Supervise young people effectively, maintaining a positive level of control and facilitating age-appropriate activities.
  • Establish and uphold appropriate boundaries and relationships with the children.
  • A Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Health & Social Care (Caring for Children and Young People) is preferred.

Location:
Near High Wycombe

Compensation:
£24,500 - £26,000 per annum, based on experience

Work Schedule:
3 days per week, including some weekends and 2 sleep-in shifts.
