About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Research Scientist to join our Data Science team at Ocado Technology. As an Operations Research Scientist, you will be responsible for modeling and solving complex optimization problems to drive business value and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement mathematical models to optimize supply chain operations
  • Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement optimization solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operations research and supply chain optimization
Requirements
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
  • Strong background in optimization techniques, including linear and mixed-integer programming
  • Experience with optimization software, such as IBM CPLEX or Gurobi
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
