About the Role

GAP Hire Solutions is a leading provider of plant and tool hire across the UK, serving various sectors including construction, utilities, and infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our nationwide Plant and Tool division.

Your Responsibilities

  • Loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment from customer sites in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring safe and responsible driving practices at all times, adhering to legal regulations.
  • Conducting hire equipment demonstrations on customer sites when required.
  • Completing accurate hire documentation and administrative tasks.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Significant experience as an HGV Driver, specializing in loading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment from customer sites.
  • A valid Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed, and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
  • Recent experience towing trailers is essential.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow guidelines diligently.
  • Excellent customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail.
