As part of their ongoing growth and market expansion, the firm has established a dedicated division focused on delivering comprehensive project management, pricing strategies, and automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of legal project management, providing support to Legal Project Managers with daily project activities.
- Contribute to the formulation, development, and execution of matter budgets, actively monitoring performance against these budgets and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in the planning, scoping, and reporting phases of projects.
- Coordinate regular project management meetings and calls.
- Draft compelling pitch materials for Legal Project Managers for client and panel submissions.
- Respond independently to client inquiries and follow up proactively.
- Lead internal meetings to demonstrate new tools and showcase effective legal project management processes.
- Conduct research on the legal project management sector and share relevant articles and data.
- Oversee financial reporting processes, utilizing tools such as Excel and PowerBI to analyze and report data against established metrics.
- Deliver training sessions and demonstrations to lawyers, PAs, and other business services teams on process and technology adoption.
- Drive opportunities for legal process design by creating process maps and supporting managed service pilots.
Skills & Attributes:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong technical skills, including the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with the financial framework of law firms, including key performance indicators.
- Experience with Financial Practice Management Systems (e.g., Elite or Aderant Expert) is advantageous.
- Proficiency in PowerBI or similar tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Confidence in training and excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to mentor and train junior staff members.
