Vestas is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team in the UK and Ireland region. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of wind turbines, ensuring they operate at optimal levels and meet the highest safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed knowledge of Vestas's wind turbines to perform daily maintenance and field service tasks
- Work with a team of technicians to ensure service targets are met, while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards
- Carry out periodic service inspections and component replacements, as well as troubleshooting and fault-finding
- Collaborate with office-based staff and other technicians in the field
Requirements
- Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulics, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work at height and in adverse weather conditions
- Full, clean driving license
- Previous accreditation as an AT/CT under WTSR is advantageous
