The purpose of this role is to provide support in maintaining the divisions vessels and operating its plant and machinery to the highest international standards.

• Develop and execute efficient planned maintenance systems for all company vessels under your jurisdiction.
• Liaise with clients and company management to devise and elucidate maintenance procedures and strategies.
• Ensure that newly acquired vessels conform to commercial and statutory standards.
• Provide regular reports to senior management on individual projects as needed.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the Companys technical knowledge base.
• Ensure strict adherence to all relevant technical standards.
• Collaborate with Chief engineers and vessel Masters to assess and rectify vessel defects.
• Supervise the effective maintenance and operation of owned and managed vessels.
• Participate in training activities as necessary to meet Company regulations and comply with legislative requirements.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Maintenance/Reliability within the Maritime industry, technical knowledge and understanding of marine vessels and equipment, ability to oversee and coordinate maintenance activities for marine assets, strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, effective decisions, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
