Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled MQ Support Analyst to join our Middleware team at NatWest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational health of our platform, covering all aspects of service, risk, cost, and people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team's activities to maintain platform integrity in line with technical roadmaps.
  • Contribute to and support the delivery of a robust production management service for relevant infrastructure platforms.
  • Provide day-to-day support for production systems, including certificate renewal and problem-solving incidents.
  • Collaborate with platform, domain, and relevant cross-domain stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and mitigation.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of work within the platform and support the timely servicing of feature development requests.
  • Ensure controls are applied and constantly reviewed to ensure full compliance with all policies and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of MQ on mainframe systems and Unix systems.
  • Advanced experience of supporting MQ on z/OS.
  • Experience supporting MQ systems in a large, complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of SSL certificates and AMS certificates as used by MQ.
  • An understanding of operational principles.
  • Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
