NetSuite Developer

We are seeking a skilled NetSuite Developer to join our team at Caroola, a leading provider of tax management, umbrella, and accountancy services. This is a contracting role that will play a crucial part in our technology strategy, supporting Finance and IT Development.

As a NetSuite Developer, you will be responsible for delivering new features and functions to our Live NetSuite solution, working closely with our 3rd party supplier experts to extend the system to cover umbrella payroll. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing and defining solutions to meet business requirements
• Making technical recommendations and participating in testing
• Developing fit-for-purpose solutions in line with technical design
• Ensuring solutions are performance-tuned and meet security standards
• Providing effective documentation to support installation and support
• Cross-skilling team members on new functionality and solutions
• Collaborating with Finance, IT Development, and the wider business across all stages of the project lifecycle
• Contributing to best practice for NetSuite development within the team

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Knowledge of the NetSuite product and ecosystem
• Experience integrating NetSuite systems into an existing application landscape
• Understanding of good development practices and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements for NetSuite solutions
• Demonstrable experience solving technical problems with an inquisitive nature
• Able to work well with non-technical colleagues and adapt style to understand issues and recommend solutions
• Experience leading and conducting core NetSuite system administration duties
• SuiteScript and SuiteQL experience desirable
• Able to review, amend, and optimize custom workflow scripts
• Experience working on system integration projects
• Familiarity with other enterprise systems, such as Salesforce, and integration technologies like MuleSoft
• Experience with data migrations into NetSuite environments
• Experience with integrations working alongside external parties and banking systems
• Ability to liaise with external parties and escalate complex systems issues to successful resolution
• Create and optimize reporting processes
