Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, specializing in the mental health needs of young people with eating disorders. This role involves working in a busy environment, providing specialist assessments, treatment plans, and expert advice to support the well-being of our clients.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the assessment, delivery, and evaluation of eating disorder services for young people
  • Provide specialist eating disorder assessments to children and young people with complex health needs
  • Develop and deliver treatment plans using a range of therapeutic approaches
  • Participate in training programs and offer consultation and expert advice to colleagues
  • Work within operational policies and make decisions regarding referrals to the service

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Core profession qualification (Social Work, Nurse, Allied Health Professional)
  • Professional Registration with recognized National Body (HCPC, NMC, Social Work England)
  • Nationally recognized continuous professional development related to the core profession

Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Working knowledge of specialist therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Therapy
  • Knowledge of Child Protection processes and legislation
  • Experience in inter-agency working and care/treatment planning

Experience:

  • Post-qualification experience in a relevant field
  • Experience delivering evidence-based interventions
  • Clinical risk assessments and management
  • Mental health assessments
  • IT skills including databases, Microsoft Office, and clinical systems
