Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to lead fulfilling lives, promoting independence and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with learning disabilities and autism to develop daily living skills, including cooking, shopping, and personal care.
- Plan and facilitate activities that promote social, cognitive, and motor skills, such as arts and crafts, games, and sensory experiences.
- Engage clients in community-based activities and outings, promoting confidence and connections.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure high-quality care and support services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or autism.
- A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude with strong communication skills.
- Ability to commit to at least 24 hours of work per week.
- Access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
