Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Community Mental Health

Location: East London

Contract Type: Ongoing

Hours: Full-time or Part-time

Rate: £27-28 per hour (Band 6) or £31-32 per hour (Band 7)

Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Community Mental Health setting in East London. The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitation services to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop treatment plans for individuals with mental health needs
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with the HCPC
  • Experience working in a Community Mental Health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
