Job SummaryWe're seeking a motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Dalkeith service. As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting four gentlemen who share a large home just outside of town. Your primary responsibility will be to provide person-centered care, promoting independence, dignity, and respect for each individual.
Key Responsibilities- Support individuals with medication, cooking, and personal care
- Maintain the homes of the people we support and manage their finances
- Assist with daily activities, such as going out for a cuppa, dancing, or trying new things
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the people we support are happy and safe in their own homes
- Reliable and honest with a strong commitment to respecting the individuals we support
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- UK driving license (desirable)
- Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and mental health issues (desirable)
