About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Project & Programme Services team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing commercial aspects of commissions and/or projects, including governance, fee management activities, internal job costings, and resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage commercial aspects of projects, including contract administration, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project management, health & safety, and building surveying teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Manage and mentor junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and proposals to secure new projects and clients.
Requirements
  • Qualified with a BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Chartered member of the RICS (or equivalent) with a strong understanding of construction law and contract administration.
  • Proven experience in commercial management, cost planning, and contract administration on large-scale public sector projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex commercial issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
