Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the Midlands. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be working with a team of ground investigation specialists on a variety of technically challenging and exciting projects.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct Phase 1 desktop studies to identify potential site issues
  2. Collect and analyze soil and rock samples to inform project decisions
  3. Log and interpret borehole data to understand subsurface conditions
  4. Monitor groundwater and gas levels to ensure project safety
  5. Write clear and concise reports to communicate findings to stakeholders
  6. Train junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge
  7. Assist with project management to ensure timely and within-budget delivery
