Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to become a vital part of our team.
In this role, you will oversee the management of Security Operations, Security Incidents, and Infrastructure Security at Legal & General. By leveraging cutting-edge threat intelligence, you will inform daily operations and engage in proactive threat hunting to identify and respond to potential threats. Collaboration with fellow security analysts and professionals will be key in fortifying L&G against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering expert technical security support in response to incidents on a 24/7 basis.
- Collaborating with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) service provider to conduct Level 3 security event monitoring across the organization, including the aggregation and triage of security events.
- Configuring security tools to design and implement use cases that enhance L&G's detection and response capabilities.
- Providing Level 3 responses for various security incidents, including intrusions, malware infections, network breaches, and denial of service attacks, ensuring timely and effective management.
- Assisting in the creation and compilation of management information, such as dashboards for leadership and application owners, to facilitate the detection and reporting of risk events and trends.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proficient in tools utilized for detection and response, such as XDR/EDR, Network Monitoring, and SIEM.
- Understanding of threat intelligence and its application within Security Operations to enhance detection and response maturity.
- Awareness of emerging threats and the ability to integrate detection capabilities accordingly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to exercise sound judgment.
- Relevant certifications in infrastructure, networking, or malware analysis are advantageous.
