Overview of the Role:

The Business Requirements Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying and securing business needs related to system and process transformation initiatives, employing a range of methodologies, tools, and expertise.

You will possess a strong understanding of agile practices for requirements analysis, enabling you to define, evaluate, enhance, validate, and trace both functional and non-functional requirements throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough analysis for change initiatives during the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Examine, analyze, and comprehend the functionality of existing system workflows in relation to their business processes. Document detailed requirements and process flows in the specified format, including but not limited to Use Case, Sequence, Dataflow, Class, and State Diagrams. Serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more applications, understanding the services utilized and business capabilities provided. Assist developers by guiding them through documented user stories and addressing their inquiries, including both positive and negative scenario outcomes. Collaborate closely with System Testers to ensure clarity for the creation of test cases and outcomes, acceptance criteria, issue triage, and defect prioritization. Support the establishment of business data requirements for data migration when transitioning from legacy systems to modern solutions. Ensure end-to-end traceability of requirements, capturing any changes in scope or feature requirements while adhering to change management protocols. Engage with Architects, SMEs, and other stakeholders to share insights, resources, and support. Become a domain expert, placing the customer at the heart of all design and delivery efforts.

Essential Skills Required:

Practical experience with Agile Methodology in Software Engineering. Proven ability to work with stakeholders at all organizational levels. Strong connection to broader industry practices and the Business Analyst profession. Experience in navigating complex matrix management environments. Proficiency in producing a variety of analytical artifacts. Solid understanding of business analysis methodologies and approaches.
