Food Service Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food-To-Go Bakery Assistant to join our team at AF Blakemore & Son Ltd. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to the success of our Food-To-Go department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-quality food and beverages to our customers, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work collaboratively with the store team to maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Upsell and promote our products to customers, highlighting our competitive pricing and promotions.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not essential.
