We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Wound Care Nurse to join our Community Nursing Team based in the Herne Bay area. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, specialist care to housebound patients with complex wounds in patient's homes and in a clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist wound care to patients in their homes and in a clinic setting.
- Run the day-to-day Wound Clinics and ensure close collaborative working relationships with Primary Care Networks, Community Nursing Teams, and other members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
- Work closely with patients, families, and carers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of wound care policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of wound care services.
- Registered Health Care Professional (NMC Registration)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in wound care or a related field
- Knowledge of local and national guidance around wound care (NICE, NHS England, Wounds UK)
- Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
