About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and adolescents, promoting their health and well-being, and supporting their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to children and adolescents, taking into account their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of children and their families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the needs of children and adolescents, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals, and monitor the effects of these interventions.
  • Provide education and support to children and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their care and well-being.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
  • A Paediatric Nursing Degree.
