Job Title: Aerospace & Defence Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace & Defence Manager to join our team at CBSbutler Holdings Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing Configuration Management (CM) methodology to provide evidence of the achievement of the Golden Thread while ensuring consistency between requirements, technical information, and realised products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a programme-level CM system in compliance with the Client and Partners Quality Management System, Information Systems, External Standards, and best practice.
  • Provide capability planning, budgeting, scheduling, implementation, monitoring, and improvement to meet Programme CM workload requirements.
  • Deploy and maintain the Configuration Management system within various workstreams.
  • Identify and manage Programme CM risks, contribute to Programme lessons learnt, and ensure lessons learnt and CM risks are mitigated at Programme level.
  • Build a network of relationships with External businesses, contractors, and industry experts to enhance Programme reputation and import solutions and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of performing CM at the company/programme level in support of Projects and In-Service throughout the full product/system lifecycle within a similar environment.
  • Be fully conversant and experienced in the functionality and implementation of CM tools (comprehensive PLM tools) for managing Product Data, Asset Data, Requirements, Documents, Drawings, Records, and CAD Models.
