You will be integrated into a back-office unit comprising Administrators, Senior/Technical Administrators, and Financial Planning Associates who work in unison to assist their proficient Independent Financial Advisers.
As a Financial Planning Associate, your primary focus will be on conducting research, performing analysis, and drafting reports to support the Financial Advisers. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire client journey, which includes researching to identify appropriate solutions, preparing suitability reports, and coordinating with the Administrators to ensure accurate processing of business and proper updates to systems.
You will engage with a variety of financial planning scenarios, including investments, pension transfers, bonds, VCT, EIS, and IHT, among others. To facilitate your role, you will receive assistance from the Technical Admin team, who handle suitability reports for standard cases such as ISAs.
Requirements for Financial Planning Associate
- Proven experience in a Financial Planning Associate role
- Ideally, you should possess a full Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or an equivalent qualification (or be nearing completion)

Benefits of the Financial Planning Associate Role
- Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £45,000, based on experience
- Comprehensive company benefits including auto-enrolment pension, employee benefits scheme, and 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 25 days plus bank holidays after probation
- Standard working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday (with potential flexibility on start and finish times)
