About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Referral and Assessment team in Kingston and Richmond. As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a critical role in supporting children and young people by undertaking child protection investigations, building strong relationships with families and partner agencies, and contributing to team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake child protection investigations and safety planning
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with families, their support networks, and partner agencies
  • Work on complex cases, including court work and pre-proceedings experience
  • Contribute to team management, deputising for team leaders and supervising ASYE or students
  • Ensure children and young people are actively involved in our work and their voice is captured in case recording
  • Participate in reflective supervision and group supervision
Requirements
  • Relevant Social Work qualification
  • Completion of ASYE
  • Active Social Work England registration
