Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Commercial Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with Biohm's vision for regenerative biotechnologies.
  • IP Management and Strategic Partnerships: Oversee the management and commercialisation of Biohm's IP portfolio, working closely with the Head of IP to identify opportunities for IP licensing, sale, and partnerships that maximise revenue and market impact.
  • Oversight of Commercialisation and Impact Functions: Lead and manage the commercialisation and impact teams, including the Director of Impact Solutions, Head of Partnerships, Head of Process Innovation, and Commercial Lead.
  • Market Strategy and Business Growth: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and market needs, adapting Biohm's commercial strategy to stay ahead in the market.
  • Financial Oversight and Performance Management: Take ownership of the commercialisation function's financial performance, including revenue generation, P&L management, and budget optimisation.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience: Extensive experience in commercial strategy, IP management, and business development, ideally within the biotechnology, construction, materials and physical products, general tech, or sustainability sectors.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L, setting and achieving financial targets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Exceptional negotiation and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to establish and nurture strategic partnerships with multinationals and key industry players.
  • Innovation and Market Insight: A forward-thinking approach with the ability to translate cutting-edge research into market-ready solutions.
