POSITION SUMMARY :

We are pleased to present a unique opportunity to join our Public Sector client in a newly established position for a Performance and Risk Oversight Manager, focusing on the management and assurance of Hard Facilities Management services across a diverse estate.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring office attendance for three days a week.

It is important for candidates to note that occasional travel may be necessary, with a few overnight stays expected each month.


The Performance and Risk Oversight Manager will collaborate with the Estates Teams and industry partners to identify potential service delivery risks and to implement and coordinate assurance initiatives.

In this role, you will lead the coordination of all performance-related activities, providing insights and guidance on all aspects of industry partner performance, including the preparation of the Quarterly Performance Report.

Monitoring performance trends is crucial, particularly in instances where industry partner performance does not meet expectations. You will support stakeholders in addressing underperformance, including tracking progress against rectification plans.

The Performance and Risk Oversight Manager will also engage with Hard FM industry partners and Estates Teams to assess customer satisfaction levels.

This position serves as the primary contact for all Hard FM assurance matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising Estates Teams on the interpretation and application of the Practitioner Guide Estate Management 02 (EM02).

Previous experience in managing performance, risk, and the assurance of significant service delivery contracts within the Estates or Hard Facilities Management sector is essential.

Membership in the Institute of Risk Management (IRM), the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, or a similar relevant professional organization is preferred.
