Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Field Services Engineer to join our team at ECS Resource Group. As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing dedicated installation and configuration support to our clients in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and configuration of network equipment on clients' business premises, including network cabinets, structured cable runs, cable termination, local patching, network switches, Wi-Fi Access Points, Network Routers, and SD WAN.
  • Prepare, stage, and test network equipment to ensure it meets specified performance and quality standards before installation or shipment.
  • Work closely with the Field Services, NOC, and Provisioning teams to ensure the smooth implementation of our services.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical approach when faced with problems or challenges.

Requirements:

  • Previous Field service experience.
  • Network Installation experience (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong understanding of cabling, cabinets, Wi-Fi, Network Security, and SD Wan.
  • Strong general networking/IP knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a practical approach when faced with problems or challenges.
  • Must be committed and willing to learn.
  • Ideal candidate will hold CCNA certification.
  • Must hold a Full & clean UK driving Licence.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business.
