Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Orion. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of electrical systems for our projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate electrical system risks.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system designs, including power generation, distribution, and transmission.
  • Conduct electrical transient analysis and ensure system stability.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of IEC standards and other international electrical standards.
  • Experience with electrical transient analysis programs (ETAP) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with design of floating units.
  • Knowledge of upstream engineering principles.
