Activities Director

Cathay Care Home is seeking a dedicated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care home community, you will be responsible for planning and organizing engaging activities that promote socialization, stimulation, and enjoyment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement monthly activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents.
• Foster social connections and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and resident engagement.

Requirements:

• Proven ability to plan and organize events and activities that engage diverse groups.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
• A genuine passion for working with older adults and promoting their well-being.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
