We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our dynamic team at CHS Group. This role involves collaborating closely with the Directors while also mentoring junior staff and contributing to their training and professional growth.

CHS Group specializes in delivering comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical Building Services, including design, supply, installation, and commissioning. Our expertise spans across traditional installation sectors and a burgeoning focus on renewable energy solutions.

Our projects cover a diverse range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Retail, and Renewables, with contract values typically ranging from £50k to £2m. The role will require a balanced work schedule, dividing time between on-site responsibilities and our Head Office.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the technical aspects of projects, reporting directly to the Directors.
  • Manage weekly and monthly financial statistics, ensuring accurate reporting to the team.
  • Ensure project requirements are adhered to from inception through to completion and handover, with guidance from the Directors.
  • Coordinate all project activities among clients, equipment suppliers, and contractors, participating in onsite and virtual meetings.
  • Provide technical support to onsite teams as needed.
  • Assist the team in delivering projects successfully.
  • Maintain standard documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including design specifications, schedules, and technical submittals.

Required Experience:
  • Proficient knowledge in mechanical services, HVAC, plumbing, domestic services, and BMS Controls.
  • Familiarity with HVAC plant operations.
  • Health & Safety Accreditation (CSCS Card or equivalent).
  • Proficient in IT, with experience in MS Office and Google Cloud.
  • Strong technical background.
