Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our National Response Team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical support to our customers in the UK, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs, on-site commissioning, service, and calibration of customer equipment.
  • Perform upgrades and refurbishments on customer sites.
  • Handle customer queries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Adapt to various environments and comply with local health and safety regulations.
  • Complete necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Work overtime as required and participate in the on-call standby rota system.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and provide technical support via phone and email.

Requirements:

  • Good technical electrical/electronics skills.
  • Minimum ONC or similar qualification in electromechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Experience in a field service role and familiar with customer service aspects.
  • PLC programming and PC hardware knowledge an advantage.
  • Good PC literacy and organisational skills.
  • Methodical approach to problem-solving and good communication skills.
  • Full current UK driving licence.
