Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Garment Technologist to join our Garment Technical team at Burberry Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our garment designs are developed and industrialized to meet our high standards of quality, cost, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess design risks and develop effective solutions through our risk assessment process.
• Collaborate with our design team to ensure that our garment designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet our quality standards.
• Develop and maintain accurate technical specifications, including fusing charts and construction specifications.
• Oversee sample reviews with our pattern team to ensure that our garments meet our quality standards.
• Travel and work flexibly based on business demands to support our production and industrialization teams.
• Support our production and industrialization teams to maintain quality standards and ensure that our garments are produced to our high standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our garment designs are production-ready and cost-effective.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the luxury fashion industry.
• University degree in textiles or fashion with garment industry experience.
• Rainwear and outerwear experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction and fit.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Adobe, and Office Suite.
