Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the hospital estate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all plant and equipment within the hospital estate, carrying out a range of repairs and new works to a high standard.
  • Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  • Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Requirements
  • Level 2 / 3 NVQ diplomas in heating & ventilation.
  • Experience of HVAC maintenance and installations.
  • Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge.
  • Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skills.
  • Great communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude.
