About the Role

Burberry is seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Pricing Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our pricing team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue and EBIT growth by maximizing our pricing potential globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pricing Strategy and Analysis: Identify pricing opportunities through analysis of pricing architecture, performance trends, and competitor pricing intelligence.
  • Global Pricing Consistency: Monitor changing global macro-economic factors and make appropriate price adjustment recommendations to maintain global pricing consistency and protect group margins.
  • Seasonal Pricing Setup: Ensure that global retail and wholesale prices are appropriately derived each season.
  • Collaboration and Liaison: Act as liaison between business and BI pricing team.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support Seasonal Review: Support the seasonal review of country pricing factors, making appropriate price adjustment recommendations as needed.
  • Pricing Guidance and Architecture: Assist the Pricing Manager in working with the product finance team to provide seasonal pricing guidance and global pricing architecture relationships to be incorporated into seasonal and financial plans.
  • Sales and Offer Analysis: Create and analyze sales and offer by price range analysis to ensure an appropriate product assortment by price range is maintained.
  • Seasonal Price Bands Process: Oversee the seasonal price bands (core currency pricing relationships) process with merchants and implementation in Flex PLM.
  • Seasonal Pricing Files: Oversee the creation of seasonal retail and wholesale factor files for SAP.
  • Price Change Requests: Manage quarterly price change requests and approvals, working with the product teams and BI Pricing data team to facilitate a smooth implementation.
  • Price Information and Data: Partner with Marketing and BI pricing to deliver accurate price information on product gifting catalogues.
  • Ad-Hoc Pricing Queries: Liaise with BI pricing team on ad-hoc pricing queries, seasonal realignments, emergency price adjustments, and any other price execution requests.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong commercial awareness of a retail business.
  • Project Management: Meet deadlines by mitigating risks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritizing as appropriate.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Highly motivated, flexible, and conscientious with the ability to work in a constantly changing environment.
