Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Smoke Vent Engineer to join our team at Calibre, a leading HVAC contractor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire safety codes and regulations, particularly those related to smoke ventilation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the installation of smoke vents, working with contractors to ensure precise execution of design specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of existing smoke vent systems.
  • Work with maintenance teams to integrate smoke vent inspections into preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Stay up to date with national fire safety codes and regulations related to smoke ventilation.
  • Provide guidance to clients and colleagues on compliance issues related to smoke vent engineering.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations, particularly those related to smoke ventilation.
  • Experience in fault finding and knowledge of electrical circuits within control panels.
  • Full driving license (maximum 6 points).
