Job Title: Procurement Manager (Renewable Energy)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our renewable energy opportunities and projects, supporting our Net Zero ambitions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the Energy and Utilities sector, strong commercial acumen, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of renewable energy strategies and projects, including on-site generation, shared wire networks, CPPAs, VPPAs, and energy-saving opportunities.
  • Manage and influence internal stakeholders to maintain and deliver appropriate risk.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts, manage project planning, and ensure obligation management through to contract completion.
Requirements:
  • Deep sector experience in managing renewable strategies and projects within complex multisite organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience working on Power Purchasing Agreements and/or other forms of renewables purchasing.
  • Organisational and effective project management skills.
