We are seeking dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join our team in our residential facilities.

Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be situated in a children's residential home, working closely with young people exhibiting challenging behaviors. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, resilience, integrity, and exceptional organizational skills, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality childcare to facilitate positive outcomes for the youth.

The work schedule includes an average of hours per week, following a shift pattern of days on and days off, including sleep-in duties. Additionally, you will be entitled to generous allowances for bank holidays, overtime, and a performance-related bonus scheme.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience working with challenging youth, preferably in a residential environment (not mandatory)
• Qualification at QCF level in Children and Young People, or willingness to pursue this qualification with full funding provided.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and maintain organized records.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Capability to complete daily documentation in compliance with statutory and policy standards.
• Empathetic disposition.
• Effective oral and written communication skills across various contexts.
• Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire young individuals.
• Full manual driving license is essential.
