About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Reliability Maintenance Engineering Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for leading our engineering efforts and ensuring the highest levels of equipment availability and safety in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering team and develop a culture of safety and compliance
  • Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met and provide a safe working environment for all staff
  • Work with the EU Engineering team to plan for future growth and implement standards for equipment availability and maintenance
  • Participate in network-wide improvement initiatives and implement standards created elsewhere in the network
  • Mentor direct reports and develop technicians within the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience at Amazon
  • Experience in employee and performance management
  • Experience in distribution or manufacturing field with equivalent mechanical or electrical field
  • Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design review process to incorporate electrical, mechanical, automation controls solutions to drive equipment reliability and standards
  • Experience in automated conveyors systems and controls, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, CMMS programs, preventive maintenance procedures, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics
