Position Overview

The Best Connection is currently in search of skilled and entry-level Textile Production Specialists to join our team. This role involves working with a reputable client in the textile industry, focusing on the assembly and quality assurance of school uniform items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application of Name Tags: Attaching name tags to various school uniform products, including blazers, trousers, and socks.
  • Quality Control: Conducting thorough inspections of name tags to ensure they meet quality standards before application.
Training and Working Hours

Comprehensive training is provided for all new hires, with sessions scheduled from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00. Following successful completion of training, working hours will transition to 08:00 to 17:00.

Work Schedule

Employees will be required to work any five days out of a seven-day week, as the client operates continuously during peak periods. Flexibility in working hours and days can be requested.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive Pay: Starting at £18 per hour, with overtime compensation at time and a third after 40 hours.
  • Incentives: Once fully trained, employees can earn an additional 5p for each garment processed upon meeting hourly targets, potentially adding up to £120 extra to weekly earnings.
