Senior MRI Radiographer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior MRI Radiographer to join our team at Duchy Hospital in Truro. As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI imaging, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a wide range of MRI scans, including cardiac, small bowel enterography, and liver imaging. You will also have excellent communication and team working skills, with the ability to supervise and develop junior colleagues.

As a Senior MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality diagnostic imaging service, supervising junior staff, and contributing to the training of students. You will also be required to participate in the out-of-hours and 7-day working rota.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues
  • Contribute to the training of students
  • Participate in the out-of-hours and 7-day working rota
  • Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion
Requirements
  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent)
  • Postgraduate qualification and/or high levels of technical knowledge (desirable)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in MRI imaging
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Ability to supervise and develop junior colleagues
