Are you a Manufacturing Technician seeking to join a dynamic and expanding organization?

Morson Talent specializes in the development, supply, and support of advanced maritime technologies for clients globally.

The primary objective of this position is to create Electro-Mechanical Assemblies in accordance with specified drawings.

We are in search of a highly driven and enthusiastic Manufacturing Technician who will engage in a variety of tasks within the Production Department.

The Manufacturing Technician will be accountable for the fabrication and testing of diverse products and will assist in the establishment of processes and tooling/test equipment to ensure reliable and cost-effective manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Technician:

  • Execute various builds and assemblies by following detailed schematics and adhering to assembly protocols. Address issues as necessary and collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering for solutions.
  • Support prototyping and initial build activities, preparing products for mass production.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools for both mechanical and electrical tasks.
  • Aid in the implementation of lean management systems and support audits as required.
  • Complete documentation in line with quality and contractual standards, ensuring traceability of materials, tools, and products.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in work areas.
  • Possess knowledge and experience in relevant manufacturing practices.

Manufacturing Technician Mechanical:

  • A technician with experience in a multi-disciplinary manufacturing environment.
  • Skilled in constructing prototype cabinets and first-of-class products.
  • Proficient in soldering, crimping, wiring, and electro-mechanical assembly.
  • Familiar with MS Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and internet applications.
  • Understands the principles and necessity of production control documentation and traceability.
  • Committed to continuous improvement through process enhancement.
  • Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines while working collaboratively to deliver a range of products to production quality, on schedule, and within budget, minimizing waste.
  • Willing to work overtime if necessary.
