About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced French Speaking Assistant Accountant to join our team at EG Group. As a key member of our Transactional Finance division, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth end-to-end sales process for our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and investigate discrepancies in cash processing
  • Import cash processing reports onto SAP
  • Communicate and document discrepancy and forgery reports
  • Post debtors invoices and credit notes and allocate cash receipts to customer accounts
  • Reconcile cash and card GLs on a monthly basis
  • Post ad hoc journals when necessary
  • Monitor and escalate missing sales
  • Upload fuel sales and investigate variances
  • Escalate issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Perform bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Sales reconciliation
  • General administration and other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements

  • Fluent in French
  • Previous finance experience
  • Excellent client and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products
  • Strong academic record and experience in finance
  • Ability to present and explain financial information to all levels of management
  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet demanding deadlines
  • Adaptability in communication style
